Purpose Lab's FREE "A Life That Feels Like Yours"Â Experiment
Make More Room for You in Your Life
A free workbook to help you make room for the things your week keeps crowding out—whether that’s creativity, connection, quiet time, or time to do something just because you enjoy it.
Plus my weekly newsletter. Opt out anytime.
You can be doing everything you’re supposed to do and still feel like you don't have enough room for you in your life.
Your week gets shaped by work, responsibilities, what other people need, and routines you’ve stopped questioning. You make it to another Friday, but some of the things that make you feel most like yourself barely made an appearance in your week.
Maybe you miss making things, having a little time when nobody needs anything from you, being with people you can fully relax around, or using a part of yourself (like the creative part, the playful part, etc.) that doesn’t get much room in your day-to-day life.
You might know what you’re missing. But finding a place for it in practice is what's harder.
A Life That Feels Like Yours Experiment gives you a place to start.
Â
You’ll notice which parts of your week already feel like yours versus what’s been crowded out, and choose one recurring moment you have some influence over.
Then you’ll try a small change: something you actually want that would make a noticeable difference in that moment. Across three attempts, you’ll see what helps, what gets in the way, and what needs adjusting so it works for your life.
WHAT'S INSIDE
- Guided prompts to notice where your week feels like yours and what you’ve been missing
- A worksheet to find a recurring moment where a small change could make a difference
- A practical plan for your first attempt, including when you’ll try it and what to prepare
- Follow-up prompts for 3 attempts to help you learn, adjust, and decide what to keep
Hi, I’m Amanda—the founder of Purpose Lab
M.A. Psychology, Columbia University
My work is about helping thoughtful, values-driven people build lives that feel like theirs and connect them to something larger: lives shaped not only by what needs to get done, but by what gives them meaning, connection, and a sense of contribution.
I created these monthly journals because I believe purpose is something we practice, not something we figure out or "discover" once and for all. My hope is that each edition gives you a place to pause, ask better questions, and make what matters to you a little more visible in the way you actually live.
